CCC GEORGIA HUMBLED BY No. 3 LOUISBURG — NOW THE REAL TEST BEGINS

"WE LEARN A HARD LESSON AGAINST ONE OF THE NATION'S BEST." - Coach Roach

LOUISBURG, NC — August 29, 2026 — Sometimes football gives you exactly what you need, even when it is not what you want.

On Saturday, the CCC Georgia Knights traveled to face the No. 3-ranked Louisburg Hurricanes, expecting a battle against one of the nation's top junior college football programs. Instead, the Hurricanes controlled the game from start to finish, handing the Knights a difficult 63-0 defeat.

For CCC Georgia, the loss was a humbling experience and a reminder that talent alone is not enough at this level.

Louisburg came into the matchup with the confidence and execution expected from a nationally ranked program. The Hurricanes established control early and never allowed the Knights to find their rhythm.

For the Knights, Saturday was not simply a loss on the scoreboard. It was a lesson.

NO EXCUSES. NO FINGER-POINTING.

Head Coach Cedric Roach understands what the game revealed.

The Knights have spent the offseason talking about standards, accountability, preparation and earning everything they receive. Against Louisburg, those standards were tested — and the Knights came up short.

A 63-0 loss cannot be explained away.

There is no hiding from it.

There is no sugarcoating it.

And there should not be.

The Knights were humbled.

But being humbled does not mean being broken.

It means having an opportunity to look directly in the mirror and decide what comes next.

A LESSON THAT CAN'T BE IGNORED

Football is often about adversity. The best programs are not measured only by what happens when they are winning. They are measured by how they respond when everything goes wrong.

CCC Georgia now has a choice.

The Knights can allow one difficult Saturday to define their season — or they can use it as the turning point.

The answer will be determined on the practice field.

It will be determined in the weight room.

It will be determined in the classroom.

It will be determined by who shows up when nobody is watching.

And most importantly, it will be determined by how badly the Knights want to become the program they have talked about becoming.

THE STANDARD DOES NOT CHANGE

One game does not erase the progress CCC Georgia made earlier in the season.

The Knights opened the season with a dramatic 24-21 victory over Lindsey Wilson, showing the fight and competitiveness that this program is capable of. The loss to Louisburg exposed areas that must now be corrected.

The standard, however, remains the same:

ALL THINGS EARNED. NOT GIVEN.

There will be no excuses.

There will be no pointing fingers.

There will be no running from the film.

There will be no pretending that Saturday was acceptable.

Instead, there will be work.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

The Knights now return home with something they did not have before Saturday:

a painful reminder of how far they still have to go.

The scoreboard said 63-0.

But the final score does not have to be the final chapter.

Every great program has moments when it gets tested. Some respond by folding. Others respond by getting tougher.

CCC Georgia has an opportunity to find out exactly what it is made of.

The Hurricanes delivered the message.

Now the Knights must answer.

The loss is real.

The lesson is real.

The work starts now.

Welcome to the Dungeon.
