Coach Cedric Roach is a veteran football coach, discipline-driven leader, and proven championship builder with more than 25 years of coaching experience across the high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Known for establishing structured, accountable, and competitive programs, Coach Roach brings a standard of excellence that emphasizes fundamentals, preparation, and player development both on and off the field.

Coach Cedric Roach is a veteran football coach, discipline-driven leader, and proven championship builder with more than 25 years of coaching experience across the high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Known for establishing structured, accountable, and competitive programs, Coach Roach brings a standard of excellence that emphasizes fundamentals, preparation, and player development both on and off the field.

Coach Roach’s collegiate coaching résumé includes a CAIA National Championship and Big Coast Conference Championship in 2019, following a runner-up finish in the 2018 CAIA National Championship and an additional Big Coast Conference Championship that same season. His teams consistently reflect his core values—toughness, discipline, and relentless execution.

In 2017, Coach Roach served as Defensive Coordinator at Loganville Christian High School, helping lead the program to the GIAA State Playoffs. His high school coaching background also includes impactful stops as Offensive and Defensive Line Coach at R.B. Stall High School and Offensive Line Coach at Clarke Central High School, where the team captured the Region 8-AAAA Championship and advanced to the GHSA State Quarterfinals.

Beyond coaching, Coach Roach has held leadership roles as Athletic Director in North Charleston, South Carolina, and Jackson County, Georgia, where he focused on building athletic programs rooted in integrity, structure, and student-athlete success.

His experience also spans the indoor and semi-professional ranks, where he has served as Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Defensive Coordinator, further demonstrating his versatility and comprehensive understanding of the game.

A proud alumnus of Georgia Military Junior College and Albany State College, Coach Roach brings a military-influenced discipline and a former collegiate athlete’s perspective to every program he leads. His mission remains consistent: develop champions on the field and leaders for life.

Offensive Coordinator / Assistant Head Coach

Christopher Banks has been promoted to Offensive Coordinator after previously serving as the program’s Offensive Line Coach, continuing a steady rise built on experience, versatility, and leadership. A native of Deptford, New Jersey, Coach Banks brings more than 15 years of coaching experience across the high school, prep, and collegiate levels.

Coach Banks is a graduate of Wesley University, where he played football and earned his degree in Social Work. His academic and athletic background has helped shape his coaching philosophy, emphasizing accountability, player development, and preparation for success beyond football.

His coaching career includes three years at Georgia Lions Prep Academy as a Defensive Line Coach and three years at Berkmar High School coaching the Defensive Line, where he developed strong fundamentals and discipline in the trenches. Coach Banks has spent over six years with the Georgia Knights, serving in multiple roles including Offensive Line Coach, Linebackers Coach, and most recently Offensive Coordinator. His experience on both sides of the ball provides a unique perspective that strengthens offensive scheme, player development, and overall game planning.

Coach Banks is married to Ana Leadum Banks and is the proud father of three children—Jeremiah (25), Trinity (23), and Elijah (21). Family, faith, and mentorship are central to his approach, and he remains committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

As Offensive Coordinator, Coach Banks will oversee offensive strategy, player development, and execution, continuing to build a physical, disciplined, and efficient offense.

Now in his second year of coaching, he currently serves as the Defensive Coordinator, bringing fresh energy, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the game developed through years of playing experience. A former student-athlete at Woodland High School and Martin Luther King High School, he went on to play Division II football at Wingate University, where he achieved the following:

He strives to build strong relationships with players, foster accountability, and create a culture where hard work and discipline lead to success.

Leonard Holmes joins the coaching staff as the Running Backs Coach, bringing decades of experience as a player, professional athlete, and head coach at multiple levels of football. Born in Detroit, Michigan (1972), Holmes developed his foundation for the game at Detroit East Catholic High School, where he began building the toughness and work ethic that would define his football career.

Leonard Holmes joins the coaching staff as the Running Backs Coach, bringing decades of experience as a player, professional athlete, and head coach at multiple levels of football. Born in Detroit, Michigan (1972), Holmes developed his foundation for the game at Detroit East Catholic High School, where he began building the toughness and work ethic that would define his football career.

Holmes continued his playing career at the collegiate level, competing as a running back at Iowa State University from 1991–1993, before finishing his college career at Saint Joseph College in Rensselaer, Indiana in 1994, where he also played running back.

His football journey continued professionally in arena football, playing in the Indoor Football League (IFL) and Arena2, including stints with the Green Bay Bombers (1999), Flint Flames (2000), Baton Rouge Blaze (2001), and Macon Knights (2002). In addition, Holmes competed extensively in semi-professional football, playing for the Downriver Raiders (1996–1998) in Michigan and later for several Georgia-based teams, including the Georgia Heat (2003), Georgia Knights (2004), Georgia Buccaneers (2007), and Georgia Canes (2012–2014).

Following his playing career, Holmes transitioned into coaching and leadership roles. He served on the coaching staff of the Georgia Canes (2014–2015) before becoming Owner and Head Coach of the Georgia Cardinals from 2015–2023. Most recently, he served as Owner and Head Coach of the Georgia Indians indoor arena football team (2024–2025), competing in the GIFL and AAL2.

Coach Holmes brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and firsthand experience to the running backs room. His background as a collegiate and professional running back, combined with years of head coaching and program ownership, allows him to mentor student-athletes with a focus on discipline, vision, ball security, and preparation for the next level.

Coach DMarius Luckett is a 2015 graduate of Velma Jackson High School. He is in his 3rd year of teaching/coaching.  He played for Velma Jackson HS for four years, earning 1st Team All-District Honors, District 6-3A MVP Honors, 1st Team All-Area Honors and All State Honors. Coach Luckett continued his playing career after high school, four years at The University of Louisiana at Monroe, earning 1st Team All-Conference Honors in the Sunbelt Conference. He earned his Bachelor of Toxicology from the School of pharmacy while attending ULM. He believes in developing leaders and promoting discipline on and off the field. He is committed to building a championship team of character, class and one that gives total effort. Coach Luckett favorite quotes is “Be the best at getting better”.

John Wesley joins the coaching staff as the Offensive Line Coach, bringing a strong football background and a commitment to player development on and off the field. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Coach Wesley understands the competitive nature of the game and the discipline required to succeed at a high level.

A standout high school football player, Wesley was a two-time district champion, helping lead his teams to consistent success. He continued his playing career at ASA College Miami, where he earned his associate degree in Criminal Justice while competing at the junior college level.

Wesley went on to attend Albany State University, playing three seasons for the Golden Rams and further developing his knowledge of the game in a collegiate environment. He graduated from Albany State with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice.

In addition to his athletic and academic accomplishments, Coach Wesley is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., reflecting his commitment to leadership, service, and mentorship. As an offensive line coach, he is dedicated to building tough, disciplined linemen and helping student-athletes grow into leaders prepared for success beyond football.

Coach Donnie Coffman is a 25-year-old native of Haralson County, Georgia, whose passion for football is matched by his commitment to developing young men on and off the field. He is blessed to be married to his wife, Kailey, and together they are proud parents to two daughters, Everleigh and Lakelynn, who are the center of their family life.

He is blessed to be married to his wife, Kailey, and together they are proud parents to two daughters, Everleigh and Lakelynn, who are the center of their family life.

Coach Coffman’s football journey began at Haralson County High School, where he established himself as a standout player, earning three All-Region selections and two All-State honors during his career. His success at the high school level led to a collegiate scholarship at the University of the Cumberlands (KY). After one season, he transferred to Shorter University (GA) before concluding his playing career at The Apprentice School in Newport News, Virginia.

While competing at the collegiate level, Coach Coffman pursued academic studies in Human Services as well as Missions and Ministries, disciplines that continue to shape his perspective and approach to coaching. These experiences reinforced his belief that football is a powerful platform for personal growth, leadership development, and life preparation.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Ms. Kimberly brings over 33 years of experience in the medical field. Currently working in Urgent Care, she has an extensive background in pediatrics, orthopedics, occupational medicine, and urgent care. With a strong passion for athlete care and injury prevention, she has worked alongside Coach Chad for several years and has proudly served as part of the Georgia Knights Athletic team for the past two seasons.
