Eugene Tarver
Eugene Tarver's passion for basketball ignited at the age of 8 and has only grown stronger over the years. From the playgrounds to high school courts, Eugene honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the game. His dedication and talent earned him a spot in semi-pro basketball, where he continued to excel and gain invaluable experience. Beyond playing, Eugene has always been committed to giving back to his community. He has volunteered countless hours coaching young kids, imparting not only basketball skills but also life lessons and values. His enthusiasm for mentoring youth has made a significant impact on many aspiring players. Currently, Eugene is in his third year of coaching college basketball. His journey from a passionate young player to a dedicated coach is a testament to his love for the game and his desire to inspire the next generation of basketball talent.

Roderick Stevens Jr
Roderick Stevens Jr., widely known as Coach Rock, is a proud product of Queens, NY, and a respected figure in the New York City basketball community. Raised in the heart of the city’s legendary hoops culture, he honed his game on the storied NYC circuit and rose to prominence as a standout athlete. A graduate of August Martin High School, Coach Rock earned All-City First Team and All-Tournament First Team honors before continuing his career at Borough of Manhattan Community College, where he made an immediate impact as an All-Regional selection his freshman year. A highly respected streetball player, Coach Rock’s roots in the game run deep. Following in the footsteps of his father, he dedicated himself to developing young talent and giving back to his community. Through his work with Team F.A.V.A.N. on the AAU circuit, he has coached youth from ages 5 to 18, mentoring hundreds of aspiring athletes. With nearly a decade of coaching experience at both the collegiate and NYC Pro-Am levels, Coach Rock is known for his high-intensity, highly motivated, and confident coaching style. His passion for the game is matched only by his commitment to empowering youth — both on and off the court.

Olatunji Ebifemi
Born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Coach Ebifemi moved to the United States at the age of 17. He graduated from Hamilton Heights in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and continued his academic and athletic journey at Bluefield University, where he played four years of collegiate Basketball. His international background and collegiate experience bring a unique perspective and dedication to the development of student-athletes at GK.
