A Legacy of Excellence: Coach Cedric Roach Reclaims Head Coaching Role

Community Christian College (CCC) Georgia has officially announced the hiring of Cedric Roach as Head Football Coach, marking his third stint leading the Georgia Knights program. A veteran leader with over 25 years of experience, Coach Roach returns to a program where he previously secured a 2020 CAIA National Championship and multiple conference titles.
The Return of a Proven Winner
Coach Roach’s deep history with CCC Georgia and the Georgia Knights Prep Academy makes this "third-time" hire a significant move for institutional stability. Having served as both the Athletic Director and Head Coach during the program's most successful eras, Roach is tasked with revitalizing a team that has recently seen frequent leadership changes.
Coaching Philosophy: The Three Pillars
Coach Roach’s leadership is defined by a "military-influenced discipline" and a collegiate athlete’s perspective, having played at Georgia Military Junior College and Albany State College. His approach centers on three core values:
  • Discipline: A focus on fundamentals and accountability, ensuring players do the "little things" right.
  • Integrity: Building "future people" through character development and faith-based values.
  • Excellence: Maintaining high standards in academics, community service, and on-field performance.
A Career of Versatility
Roach's resume spans every level of the game, including:
  • High School: Impactful roles at Clarke Central (Region 8-AAAA Champions) and Loganville Christian Academy.
  • Semi-Professional/Indoor: Previous Head Coaching experience with teams like the Atlanta Vultures.
  • Championship Success: Leading the Knights to the 2019 Big Coast Conference Championship and the 2020 National title.

With this hiring, CCC Georgia looks to re-establish the "toughness and relentless execution" that defined Coach Roach's previous tenures.
